table, chemical bonds. Chemistry of cement, silicates and limes. Physical and
chemical properties of water.
Organic
Chemistry : Definition, classification, nomenclature of organic
compounds, functional group, isomerism. Hydrocarbonds: alkane (methane and
ethane), alkane (ethylence), alkane (acetylene). Alcohols & its
classification, methanol and glycerol. Aldehydes and ketone: formaldehyde and
acetone. carboxylic acid: formic & acetic acid, ester (ethyl acetate).
Aromatic compounds: benzene, toluene, chlorobenzene, nitrobenzene, anilime,
diazonium salts and phenol.
